Join us for a relaxing Yoga Nidra class at 12 noon, a Vegetarian Potluck at 6pm, and Deep Peace Meditation at 7pm. RSVP is required!
Yoga Nidra (guided deep relaxation): 12:00-1:00pm
Bring: A mat; towel/blanket; and water
Vegetarian Potluck Dinner (vegan and gluten-free friendly): 6:00-7:00pm
Bring: A vegetarian dish (no meat, fish, eggs, gelatin, or lard; milk products are fine), but we will have plenty of food if you can’t. (You can also bring your own eating dishes and utensils if you’d like to save using paper and plastic.)
Deep Peace Meditation: 7:00-8:00pm
No need to bring anything. Seating and refreshments will be provided.

Free Day of Yoga!
Labor Day, Monday September 1, 2025
This is an annual city-wide event which was started in 1999 by Austin yoga teachers wanting to give back to the community and give more people a chance to experience the benefits of yoga. We will be offering a variety of classes that day that will include yoga asana (exercises, postures, relaxation), yoga meditation and philosophy, and yoga diet and lifestyle. TWO LOCATIONS: Yoga Meditation Group in NW Austin and Mantra Austin @ The Vegan Yacht in South Austin (see below).

Yoga Asana (Exercise) for All Levels
Gentle, effective exercises suitable for all; relaxation and meditation.
Time: 12:00pm-1:15pm
Bring: A mat; a towel/blanket/rug to cushion the floor; and some water.
Yoga Nidra (Guided Deep Relaxation)
Guided relaxation for the body and mind. Suitable for all.
Time: 1:30-2:30pm
Bring: A mat; a towel/blanket/rug to cushion the floor; and some water.
Introduction to Yoga Meditation & Philosophy
Simple techniques to calm the mind and relieve anxiety; yoga wisdom to apply to daily life.
Time: 3:00-4:15pm
Bring: An open heart! No mat needed. (Seating and refreshments will be provided.)
Yoga Diet and Lifestyle
An overview of yoga diet and lifestyle habits and their purpose to (1) keep the body healthy and functioning and (2) to encourage a more effective yoga practice.
Time: 5:00-6:00pm
Bring: A desire to learn and a good appetite for the potluck vegetarian dinner afterwards! (Seating, handouts, and refreshments will be provided.)
Vegetarian Potluck Dinner
A potluck dinner with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options!
Time: 6:00-7:00pm

Mantra Monday! This is a weekly event hosted by Mantra Austin.
Enjoy a vegan meal starting at 7pm, followed by yoga meditation with breathing and music (kirtan). Doors open at 6:45pm. Also streamed live on Facebook
